The takeoff of online reviews has expanded enormously in recent years. There is good reason for this as many studies have shown the power and trust they have on consumers decision making. In this research 50+ studies proving the power of customer reviews are brought together. Businesses, including law firms, are actively taking an interest, encouraging their happy clients to leave reviews and monitoring what is being said about them online.

We at are building upon our extensive work to ensure greater transparency in the legal industry by requesting information from Legal consumers: the public. If you as a legal firm have many happy clients and great customer feedback, having your clients leave reviews could attract many new clients for you at zero cost.

Unique Platform operates a unique platform, containing information about compliance breaches from the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and ombudsman in the UK, client reviews and other information all on one searchable site which we like to think empowers the consumer to make an informed choice to find a trusted solicitor, all based on meaningful data.

The website has already attracted more than 3 million-page views since I founded it in 2007 alongside my passion as a senior lecturer and programme leader for renewable energy at Wrexham Glyndwr University.

Transparent information

There is clearly an appetite for customer reviews and online information and as many studies have shown consumers are searching this out before instructing. already has nearly 20,000 Solicitor reviews but is looking to build upon this record of emancipating consumers from the traditional legal system and empowering them to make informed decisions when choosing a solicitor.

As such, we are appealing to solicitors with happy clients and the general for more information to help them, help others. If your clients have had a good experience with a solicitor then encourages them to leave a review, so that their good work is rewarded with more clients.

The internet is enabling consumers to have more information and greater power to make better choices is the future, ad time goes on this trend with continue as more and more information becomes readily available.
